The Magic Fountain of Montjuic, spectacular Show of Water, Colors and Music
One of the most photographed attractions in Montjuic and all of Barcelona is the Magic Fountain. It was built for the Universal Exhibition of 1929 by the engineer Carles Buigas.
The Magic Fountain of Montjuic is located at the end of the Avenida Maria Cristina with the National Palace at the background and is filled with waterfalls and fountains distributed in several locations of the avenue.
The spectacular combination of colors, lights, water and music will make your visit to Montjuic unforgettable.

| Summer, May to September | Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 20.00 to 24.00 h. / With music and colors to 21.30, 22.00, 22.30, 23.00 and 23.30 h. |
The sessions last between 15 and 20 minutes.
Annual technical stop in the period November 1st to December 15th.
Transport
Metro 
Lines 1 and 3 stop at station Plaza España from where you can easily access the Magic Fountain of Montjuic.
Bus 
Line 55 stops at the National Art Museum of Catalonia from where you can easily access the Magic Fountain of Montjuic.
Touristic Bus 
The touristic bus also stops at the National Art Museum of Catalonia.
