The Park de la Ciutadella, the Green Zone in the Ciutat Vella
The Park de la Ciutadella is a fantastic place to spend an afternoon with family, friends and/or children. It is one of the most popular parks in Barcelona. In this park of the neighborhood of Ciutat Vella you will find fountains, monuments and beautiful gardens. One of the most viewed spots is the Cascada Monumental. Antoni Gaudí colaborated in its construction, so once again he left his imprint on the Ciutadella Park. Other highlights of the park are the lake, where you can navigate with a small boat, and its great variety of plants and trees.
So without a doubt the park is an option to spend a Sunday afternoon for a walk by their extensive walks and relax in one of the most beautiful green zones of Barcelona.
