Montjuic in Barcelona, a Pleasure for all senses
The Montjuic in Barcelona is probably the most famous mountain of the city. From here, you can enjoy some magnificent sights over Barcelona.
This mountain is popular among sports- (Palau Sant Jordi), art- (National Art Museum of Catalonia) and nature lovers (Park Montjuic). It is very difficult to find a place similar to this one. With the National Palace and the Magic Fountain being its principal attractions, it offers many alternatives to spend an unforgettable day.
Montjuic was transformed completely for the Olympic Games in 1992. The best-known constructions that were completed in this transformation are the Palau Sant Jordi and the Tower of Telecommunications, a work by Santiago Calatrava.
